Whether it's catch-up drinks with friends, celebrating a special occasion with the family or a long awaited date night, Dublin will sort you out. Our favourite Dublin eateries are all within walking distance of our aparthotels, so you can roll back to your apartment after your meal without worrying about taxis or public transport.
1. hen's teeth

2. baste outdoor food market
This garden BBQ style restaurant, located in an old carpark on Clanbrassil Street, has wooden pallet furniture and colourful bunting aplenty. They've recently added a seafood shack (Sharkbait Shelby’s) and delicious woodfired pizza from The Big Blue Bus, with more food stalls to announced over the next few weeks. Go for the food, stay for the party atmosphere and hand-rolled ice-cream.

3. bonobo
Sitting on the edge of Smithfield, one of Dublin’s coolest neighbourhoods, you’ll find a contemporary bar with a massive outdoor yard filled with young creatives and cocktail connoisseurs. Dublin Pizza Company do the grub here, so expect Italian quality pizza with fresh Irish ingredients to soak up your craft beer or citrus martini. Whatever you do, order a side of the truffle aioli – you’ll be licking your fingers for days.

4. l'gueuleton
This French bistro style restaurant is Dublin’s trendiest brunch spot. L’gueuleton’s outdoor seating is covered by traditional striped awning and spills out onto the newly pedestrianized Fade street. Try one of their famous cocktails (they do a mean espresso martini) and load up on their potato hash or moules frites. Come back later for dinner plates and lots of buzz - this street has a festival atmosphere after dark.

5. fade street social
Right next door to L’gueuleton, through a little door and up the stairs, you’ll find a semi-covered rooftop bursting with plants, candles and buckets of atmosphere. Fade Street Social is a gastronomic oasis in the middle of Dublin. Chow down on their wood fired menu and slurp on New York style cocktails. There’s additional outdoor seating street-side and an at home menu for cosy nights in.

6. chez max
A slice of Paris next door to Dublin City Hall. Chez Max has table and chairs tumbling onto the pedestrianized palace street. Typically French right down to its staff, try the croque monsieur or one of their drool-worthy sweet and savory crepes. They’re open from breakfast to dinner so there’s no bad time to stop for a coffee and a bite.
